SOJA "BORN IN BABYLON' PRE-RELEASE ALBUM AVAILABLE TO DJ'S & MEDIA OUTLETS

Born in Babylon¸ the new release from American reggae sensations SOJA, is now available to radio DJ's and members of the media. The official release date is August 25^th. Featured on Itunes as a pre-release on July 28^th, it has already reached #3 on the Itunes reggae chart.

The group, which includes a pair of lead singers who also pull double duty - Jacob Hemphill (guitar) and Bob Jefferson (bass) - as well as Patrick O'Shea on keyboard, percussionist Ken Brownell, and drummer Ryan Berty, originally came together in 1997, and have built a strong fan base performing internationally. Next week, a podcast will be available online with the band members discussing the making of the new album.

A one-drop rhythm with a very modern edge to it, the album comes to a strong start with Mr Easy's More Than a Lover. Geoffery Star comes with an R&B style delivery on Heat, and newcomer Lucky Charm joins established deejay Delly Ranks on She's Driving Me Crazy. Chico's tune takes listeners on a Gangsta Ride, upcoming artists Treson and Khego sing about their favorite pastime in Light It Up, and female sensation Stacious extols the incomparable nature of the Rude Gal Love.
